Lesson learned from Lego and his friends

Last weekend Lego and I tried our first attempt on Rally Excellent on a 2-day dog show.
At the first trial, as soon as we entered the ring, Lego went straight to greet the honor dog. Unsure of the rules, I asked to be excused. On the second day, we went past 5 signs, and at the 6th sign, there was a camera man sitting right next to it (though he was behind the short ring gate, it seemed as if he was in the ring). Lego, being the very well mannered frenchie, had to pay his respects to the camera man. Somehow, with a miracle, I got back Lego’s attention and “we” proceeded to the next sign, but Lego already got a glimpse of the glowing dog-heavenly bar-jump and went in his “happy-go-Lego-jumping-for-joy” routine…
This 2-day trial was our first trial experience of not-qualifying and not even completing the course. Despite waking up at early hours before sunrise, driving 100+ miles and not qualifying for 2 days in a row — I learned a great lesson in life from Lego, and his friends Homer, Muffin and Tux.
The following video illustrates this valuable lesson in life :).

Awww Lego!!! That’s okay, you’re still THE BEST in our eyes, and there’s always a next time!
Anu, I got to admit I had a good chuckle reading this, Lego is definitely a Frenchie for sure, LOL! And he did look so happy on the beach with his friends! Wish we could be there, the beach looks so nice, and no crowds! Maybe we should plan a trip down to Carmel some time again with all the K9TL pals? Dobby loves the beach and he can wrestle with Lego in the sand.

Thanks Kat!
On Sunday, Lego did his happy-frenchie-run and jump-for-joy routine. I wish I got that on video. Even though I was disappointed, I just couldn’t help but laugh at silly happy Lego
We should definitely plan another trip down to the beach with K9TL members, it’s lots of fun

Guess he tricked you into a trip to the beach, then, didn’t he!

I love your dog, Lego!
He’s great!
Put a big smile on my face.
Thanks for sharing his wonderful spirit and personality with me.
I love my little Frenchie girl, KD, she doesn’t do all the tricks but she is a sweet cuddly cutie.
I look forward to seeing more videos of Lego.
Best Wishes
Tim
