Meet Guinness
September 1st, 2007
By Eunice Cardenas
My search for the perfect canine companion led me to a breeder in Nashville (where I once lived). Guinness picked me by being the first puppy in his litter to come to me – Guinness was 5 weeks when I decided he would become part of my family. The breeder let me pick him up 4 weeks later-when he was 9 weeks. Guinness is 5 years old now, and I’ve discovered a lot about Schnauzers in those 5 years. I’ve learned how lucky I was when Guinness picked me that day-he’s a loving lap tog, wicked-smart and as protective as any dog 3 times his size, plus he doesn’t shed
Breed: Miniature Schnauzer
Place of Birth: Nashville, TN DOB: 5/21/02
Nickname: Guinn
Likes: Walks, Treats, Playing “catch me if you can”
Pet-Peeves: Mom paying more attention to another dog…
Quirky Tid-bit: Guinn loves to sleep under the covers. He will use his Snout to push the covers up and then nestles himself in bed.
Trivia: Need final proof of Miniature Schnauzer’s ultimate coolness? Bruce Lee owned one!

That’s so cute that Guinness was the first puppy in the litter to walk up to you
